Autumn 2020 is upon us and thankfully there are some out-and-about ways to connect within our South Bay community. Here are a few exciting things going on this month.

Crafted Port LA in San Pedro has just welcomed Ten Thousand Villages (Riviera Village) to join its handcrafted artisan emporium. This open-space marketplace for extraordinary art, food, beauty products, home décor, pet and toy boutiques is open weekends 12pm to 6pm, and might just be the perfect holiday shopping destination!

Torrance’s Roadium drive-in movie screenings are going on into December. Ghostbusters, Ratatouille and The Polar Express are family-friendly films scheduled to warm hearts throughout the autumn and holiday season.

Take a stroll through beautiful grounds with your four-legged love! Fall dog-walking hours at the South Coast Botanic Garden are now scheduled for the second Sunday of October and November (October 11 and November 8), from 9am to 5pm. Early reservations are recommended - these days will be popular!

The eighth annual Sunscreen Film Festival will be a live event this year, for one night only - Thursday, Oct 22, 7pm, at the Gardena Cinema's Outdoor Drive-In. The evening is a full slate of short films under the stars, concessions, DJ, and lots of family fun ... all for $30 per car.

The 12th annual Skechers Pier-to-Pier Friendship Walk will be a virtual event this year, on Sunday, October 25. Everyone is invited to go the virtual mile together to raise funds and awareness for special needs children and their families.
