The Bodger Park tract features conforming homes of generally 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and approximately 1200 sq. ft. Many of the homes have been expanded over the years to include additional bedrooms or family rooms. The Wiseburn tract is an unincorporated area which uses a Hawthorne mailing address. This area is a pleasant tract of homes build in the 1950's. It's popular because it has its own school district including the DaVinci school which offers a project-based learning environment that is popular today.

Hawthorne Boulevard offers many options for dining and shopping. The Manhattan Mall, located in Manhattan Beach is just a few miles away and is a very popular destination for upscale shopping and dining.

For buyers who are priced out of higher cost beach cities along the coast, Hawthorne is a good alternative to get a foothold in the South bay and still have the beach close by.
